“UGA holds such an important place in my life – it just seems right to give.”
For Quanda, a student in the College of Education, the decision to come to the University of Georgia was an easy one. She knew before she came that UGA, as Georgia’s flagship university, would be the perfect place for her to get her undergraduate education. Experiences like late nights at Snelling, watching movies at Tate and being a part of the Student Alumni Council have made her time here special and let her know that she is a true Georgia Bulldog.
Quanda understands that being a Bulldog goes much deeper than just the experiences that she has had on campus. UGA has invested so much in her and her fellow classmates, and she knows that giving back to the University has an impact on everyone who is a part of the UGA community. For Quanda, giving as a student is easy because she feels “more connected with the University” and “she can readily see how her money helps UGA grow.”
Upon graduation, Quanda plans to attend graduate school to earn her Masters and PhD degrees and then enter into the work force. Wherever her path takes her, she hopes to be remembered for her leadership, involvement and giving to UGA and the College of Education.
