UGA one of six regional sites for Duke TIP Scholar Weekends

More than 100 of the brightest middle and high school students from Georgia and surrounding states will get their first taste of college courses during a Scholar Weekend hosted by the College of Education November 15-16 through a partnership between UGA and Duke University.

College Student Affairs Graduate Wins Dissertation of the Year Award

Recent graduate C. Ryan Akers has received the Southern Association for College Student Affairs Dissertation of the Year award for 2008. This is the second consecutive year a UGA student has received the honor.


Doctoral Student in Student Affairs to be Keynote Speaker at National Conference

Khrystal L. Smith, a doctoral candidate in the University of Georgia’s college student affairs administration program, has been invited to be a keynote speaker at the National Association of Campus Activities Central Regional Conference in Tulsa, Okla., this October.
