Research Highlights
Several College of Education students won prizes during the 2008 Graduate Student Research Conference held on UGA's Reading Day on April 29. Winners included Amy Wilson, Hye-Jeong Choi, Deb Teitelbaum, Katherine Raczynski, Kelly Foster, Myungweon Choi, Cigdem Alagoz and Youn-Jeong Choi. See more details on coeNEWS.
Mack C. Shelley II, University Professor of Statistics and Political Science and Director of the Research Institute for Studies in Education at Iowa State University visited the University of Georgia College of Education March 19th and 20th. The COE Building Research Capacity Initiative in partnership with the Education Policy and Evaluation Center sponsored his visit. As part of his visit, he presented “Gold Standards for Research in Education: Best Practices for Research Funding and Publication".
