UGA's Archway Partnership, an effort in eight Georgia counties to link local communities with the university's vast resources, is featured in the July 20 issue of The Chronicle of Higher Education. The College of Education is working with the Archway Partnership on two major initiatives in Hart and Sumter counties. See the Chronicle story, details on COE initiatives under "Projects."
Education profs, students work with Latino middle school students
Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle School students and their parents learn about science and get a taste of college in Saturday workshops directed by two associate professors in the department of elementary and social studies education.
