Welcome to the University of Georgia College of Education website!  We invite you to visit us on UGA’s main campus in Athens, GA, where the College occupies more than 300,000 square feet in Aderhold Hall, the Ramsey Student Center, River’s Crossing and various other buildings on South Campus.  Directions to Aderhold Hall

The College’s outstanding faculty of over 200 members serves an enrollment of nearly 5,000 students (50% undergraduate, 50% graduate) per semester.  Over 400 graduate students have assistantships within the College.

Attending the UGA College of Education will provide you with diverse and enriching opportunities as you study with highly accomplished faculty and students in top-ranking departments and programs.  One of the largest and most diverse institutions of its kind in the nation, the University of Georgia College of Education offers 16 undergraduate majors and more than 34 graduate programs leading to careers as educators, counselors, psychologists, administrators, researchers, educational and health-related specialists.

Many of the College’s graduate programs are perennially ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s annual edition of “America’s Best Graduate Schools.” The College’s rigorous academic programs also offer opportunities for study and research with many nationally and internationally recognized faculty who are pursuing cutting-edge research, forging bold initiatives and building community-based partnerships as they provide real-life answers to some of the most difficult challenges we face today in education and human health.
