Accreditation & Assessment - Assessment and Reporting
The following data reports are available through the Office of Academic Programs. Please contact Krista Vanderpool, kvanderp@uga.edu, to review any of the following reports or for more information on the data collection process.
| Name of Report | Due Date | Description | Unit(s) Responsible |
|---|---|---|---|
| Part C Report | April | The annual report gives units the opportunity to write a narrative response summarizing major changes that have occurred over the past year and progress made on correcting previously cited weaknesses or areas for improvement. It also asks units to report evaluations that may have been conducted and plans for future changes in the unit. Finally, Form C asks for updated contact information. | Dean’s Office |
| Professional Education Data System (PEDS) Report | April | Requests data on enrollment, number of graduates by program area, candidate and faculty characteristics, and resources of the unit. | Dean’s Office |
| NCATE Program Reviews | 7 Year Cycle | The NCATE accreditation process has two primary components: the unit review and the program review. The unit is any entities on campus that prepare personnel to work in school—the organization with the responsibility for managing or coordinating all programs offered for the initial and continuing preparation of teachers and other school personnel, regardless of where they are administratively housed. The unit is reviewed by an NCATE Board of Examiners team that completes a site visit and evaluates the unit against the six NCATE unit standards. The most recent NCATE Program Review was conducted in 2007. | Department/Dean’s Office |
