Report on Technical Institutes Use of GSAMS Network for Credit Classes: Addressing Major Implementation Issues (1996)

The project identified major issue areas impacting the implementation of GSAMS for credit classes. The project also addressed how the technical institutes are addressing these issues in their policies and practices.

Statewide Evaluation of GSAMS Network Usage, Impact, and Effectiveness (1996)

ORG staff designed and implemented survey instruments to collect data from the 280 active GSAMS sites in the state. Data were also collected from students, teachers, and site managers to assess how GSAMS was being used, how well it worked, and what impact it was having on education in Georgia.

Using Multimedia and Distance Learning Technology to Enhance Electronics Engineering Technology Programs, Instruction, and Access in Georgia Technical Institutes (1995 - 1996)

A collaborative effort between UGA, the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education, six technical institutes, and business/industry to create multimedia material for technical programs at Georgia technical institutes. (Funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education program)



A Proposal to Research, Develop and Revise Program Standards and Program Guides and to Provide Related Activities in Support of the Mission of the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education (1993 -1998)

This project included the comprehensive review and revision of 35 standardized degree/diploma programs, in-service activities support, information management, and research support activities for DTAE and the technical institutes. (Annual contracts with the Georgia department of Technical and Adult Education)
