[Homepage] [Introduction] [Evaluation decisions] [Results] [Recommendations] [Limitations]

There are three limitations for this evaluation.

  • Not every module was reviewed equally
Although the expert reviewers provided overall comments all the modules, most of the other participants provided their feedback based on modules "Human behaviors in social environment" and "Direct practice methods/general practice". The main reason is because the other classes which can use another two modules are not offered this semester. In addition, the teachers who might use the other two modules preferred not to anticipate the outcomes. Therefore, this evaluation report lacks sufficient the input regarding the other two modules.

  • Sample size
The evaluation plan called for three experts, three interviews, and twenty questionnaires. However, only four of the questionnaires were returned. Since the sample size is not big, this evaluation report doesn't report the statistic descriptions about the participants' rankings related to each question. This report provides the brief conclusions and general comments from the participants.

  • Lack students' feedback

This evaluation plan focuses on the teachers’ perspectives about these modules, but we don’t know what the students think about these materials. These modules are only used in a very small portion of any given course, so it would be difficult for students to provide an evaluation of these materials as distinctly different from all the other materials used in their course.
